The Company

My client is one of the UK’s leading manufacturers within its field of specialist metal processing. The company is a well-established with over 100 years of experience and is a producer to a wide variety of markets. The West Bromwich site is looking to recruit an additional engineer, once again to expand due to further investment, within this globally secure organisation.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day engineering and maintenance activities ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards and maximising machine efficiencies, working on several manufacturing processes, driven by process machinery. The ideal candidate will come from an engineering background and should be able to work on their own initiative, be a time served engineer with a mechanical qualification minimum of NVQ Level 2 but ideally have multi-skilled knowledge. Also, able, and willing to be involved in general mechanical work on furnaces, ovens, motors, pneumatics, hydraulics, gearboxes other process driven machinery. There is a huge amount of training on offer, so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.
