Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Elevation have the pleasure of working with an industry leading, multi-million-pound plc business based in Barnsley who are looking to recruit an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer.

Salary: £43,000
Location: Barnsley
Hours: 1st week- Mon, Tues, Sat, Sun 6am till 4pm, 2nd week- Mon to Fri 8am till 4.30pm

Duties of an Mechanical Maintenance Engineer:

• Being proactive within the job focussing on preventative maintenance as well as reactive maintenance of the infrastructure and Control Systems.
• Attending to breakdowns
• Actively working on a continual improvement project to ensure yourself and the company are the best it can be
• Working on CMMS system daily

Desired experience:

• You must have at least Level 3 or above in Mechanical Engineering (City and Guilds or NVQ based)
• Ideally have 3 years experience as an Mechanical Maintenance Engineer previously
• Must have manufacturing experience.
• Must be happy working all 4 shifts on weekly rotation
