An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical LEN Engineer to join a high-performing engineering team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for someone with a strong mechanical maintenance background who enjoys hands-on problem solving, continuous improvement, and working with a wide variety of machinery.

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks as per the CMMS schedule

• Attend and resolve equipment breakdowns efficiently, ensuring accurate reporting of all actions via CMMS

• Support proactive maintenance by identifying and implementing improvements to reduce downtime

• Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times

• Assist in maintaining a safe working environment and ensuring contractor compliance with site standards

• Collaborate with team members to maximise labour efficiency and shift performance

• Participate in training and upskilling to maintain high technical capability

• Train others where needed and support cross-functional team development

• Prioritise workload to support production and engineering KPIs

• Contribute to a culture of ownership, improvement, and engineering excellence

• Mechanical engineering qualification (apprenticeship, NVQ, HNC or equivalent)

• Strong mechanical bias (up to 100%) with hands-on experience in bearings, belts, chains, gearboxes, and hydraulics

• Proven experience in a manufacturing or production maintenance role

• Familiarity with CMMS systems and strong fault-finding capabilities

• Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving

• Willingness to work within a KPI-driven environment and to strict deadlines

• Stable weekend schedule with no overnight shifts
