Maintenance Engineer – £35,000
Dudley
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:00
Permanent Position

Pertemps are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business based in Dudley, who are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a solid background in engineering maintenance, looking for a stable role with day shifts and a competitive salary.

The Role:

Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across the site.
Fault-finding and repairs on power presses, motors, and conveyors.
Performing Mig and Tig welding where required.
Supporting production teams to minimise downtime.
Maintaining accurate maintenance logs and ensuring machinery is running efficiently.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Previous experience in a maintenance engineering role, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
Hands-on experience with power presses, motors, and conveyor systems.
Working knowledge of Mig and Tig welding techniques.
A relevant engineering qualification or time-served apprenticeship.
A proactive and safety-conscious approach.

Salary & Benefits:

£35,000 per annum
Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:00
Permanent, full-time role
