Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Multi Trades Recruitment is looking for a Maintenance Mechanical Engineer to begin work for a well-established company at Alderley Park in the Macclesfield area.

About the role:

* Monday - Friday, 07:00 - 15:00

* £21.02 per hour PAYE (£41k salary equivalent)

* Start: Monday, 7 September 2026

* End: Monday, 9 November 2026

* Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across the site

* Fault finding and maintenance of mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, BMS, LTHW, CLTHW, pumps and motors

* Producing parts lists, estimated timescales and condition/dilapidation reports where required

* Out-of-hours call-out support may be required

* Working independently while also supporting the wider engineering team

About You:

* High work ethic & team player

* Punctual & reliable

* Recognised Mechanical Engineering qualification essential

* Recognised Electrical Engineering qualification essential

* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations essential

* Strong mechanical and plumbing knowledge

* Experience fault finding HVAC systems and plant

* Experience with BMS, LTHW, CLTHW, pumps, motors and LV power systems

* Understanding of L8 ACOP

* Strong health and safety awareness

* Able to manage and prioritise workload

* Good communication skills and able to work with clients and site teams
