Altrad are currently looking for an Mechanical Project Engineer to join our team at Syngenta in HUddersfield.
Key Deliverables:
* Prepare overall project scope, costs and schedules
* Support project manager with development of the project programme
* Contribute to process risk assessments (PRAs)
* Liaise with construction teams to gather information – scope, estimates, methods of working, constructability, change
* Coordinate the design process and team(s) activities, and ensure input from stakeholders - customers, operations, constructors, subcontractors, suppliers, maintenance
* Facilitate a team of multi-discipline designers and engineers in the development of a fully detailed and approved detail design, ensuring all required aspects are considered (standards, directives, specifications and processes)
* Manage the procurement and expedition of equipment and materials, including the review and technical approval of specifications, purchase requisitions, acceptance criteria, supplier documentation and validation of performance
* Liaise with planning dept to provide accurate resource and schedule information
* Facilitate technical and project reviews and approvals
* Manage the production, issuing and control of project documentation deliverables, including final documentation packs
Degree / HND or equivalent in a Mechanical Engineering discipline
HSEQ qualification (i.e. IOSH)
Preferable –Experience & Knowledge –
* Level 4 Project Control / Management Qualification
* CompEx – ExF (foundation) or Ex11 (Mechanical) or Ex12 (Application Design Engineers)
