Mechanical Project Engineer

Are you a Mechanical Engineer looking for your next opportunity in aerospace? Our client, a leading engineering business specialising in aerospace and fuel systems, is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Coventry.
 
You’ll work on innovative aerospace products, heat exchangers and NPI programmes, taking projects from design through to validation and production.

Job Description

Lead engineering projects and NPI programmes, managing scope, schedules and risks.
Support the design, development and validation of aerospace mechanical components and heat exchangers.
Prepare and review engineering documentation, designs and validation plans.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development and production readiness.
Liaise with customers and suppliers to resolve technical issues and drive improvements.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
Relevant engineering experience, ideally within aerospace.
Strong knowledge of mechanical design, product development, materials and manufacturing.
Experience managing engineering projects, risks, schedules and deliverables.
3D CAD, simulation, DFMEA and design for manufacture experience desirable.
