Mechanical Project Manager – Decarbonisation & HVAC

£75,000 + £6K Car Allowance + Bonus

Mechanical Project Manager required to join a growing HVAC and decarbonisation contractor delivering fast-paced mechanical upgrade works across the South East.

The business specialises in plant replacement, energy efficiency upgrades and HVAC refurbishment works across commercial and leisure environments, including major clients such as David Lloyd, British Land and Landsec.

Typical project values range from £300K - £2.5M, with larger schemes up to £3M including:

* Boiler and chiller replacements

* Plantroom upgrades

* HVAC refurbishment works

* Decarbonisation projects

* Energy efficiency system upgrades across live buildings

This is a delivery and commercially focused role where you will run your own projects end-to-end, including P&L responsibility and project profitability.

Key responsibilities include:

* Full project delivery from start to finish

* Managing mechanical installation works (HVAC / plant / decarb)

* Running project P&L and commercial performance

* Managing subcontractors and site teams

* Programming and delivery coordination

* Client liaison and site coordination

* Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and profitably

What they’re looking for:

* Strong Mechanical Project Manager background (or ambitious Engineer ready to step up)

* Technically competent in HVAC / mechanical plant systems

* Commercially aware with an understanding of project margins

* Experience delivering boiler / chiller / plant replacement works

* Comfortable running multiple live projects

* Strong leadership and site coordination ability

The structure supports project ownership, with most PMs running multiple schemes at once and supported by commercial teams in the background.

Package:

* £75,000 Salary (DOE)

* £6,000 Car Allowance

* Uncapped Bonus (Up to 10% net profit per project)
