Mechanical Project Manager

We are partnering with a well-established building services contractor with an outstanding reputation for delivering high-quality mechanical and electrical fit-out projects across Central London. Operating for several decades, the business has built long-term relationships with leading main contractors, developers, and end clients by consistently delivering technically challenging projects to the highest standards.

With a strong pipeline of secured work, they are looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of fast-paced commercial fit-out projects.

The Role

Reporting to the Operations Director, you will be responsible for managing mechanical packages from pre-construction through to commissioning and final handover, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Managing mechanical fit-out projects across Central London.

* Planning, coordinating, and overseeing all mechanical installations on site.

* Managing subcontractors, suppliers, and direct labour to ensure efficient project delivery.

* Monitoring project programmes, identifying risks, and implementing solutions to maintain key milestones.

* Working closely with commercial teams to manage procurement, variations, project costs, and budgets.

* Attending client, design, and site coordination meetings.

* Ensuring all works comply with health & safety legislation and company procedures.

* Overseeing commissioning activities, snagging, and project handover.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

* Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager delivering commercial fit-out or CAT A/CAT B projects.

* A strong background within mechanical building services or MEP contracting.

* Excellent knowledge of HVAC, pipework, public health, and mechanical installations.

* The ability to manage multiple stakeholders and maintain strong client relationships.

* Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving skills.

* SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualifications (preferred).
