Location: Colchester office – Projects across the Home Counties
Salary: £70,000 – Negotiable DOE

TSR are recruiting an experienced Mechanical Project Manager on behalf of an established mechanical building services contractor.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established business, taking responsibility for a range of mechanical projects across the commercial and public sectors.

Projects will predominantly be based within NHS hospitals, healthcare facilities, universities and schools, with contract values typically ranging from £500k to £1.5m.

The Role

You will manage mechanical projects from initial handover through to completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time and within budget.

Responsibilities will include:

Managing projects from start to finish.
Overseeing HVAC, air conditioning, gas, boilers, heating and ventilation installations.
Managing project programmes, budgets and costs.
Coordinating site teams, engineers, subcontractors and suppliers.
Managing procurement and resources.
Liaising with clients, consultants and principal contractors.
Monitoring progress, variations and project risks.
Overseeing commissioning, snagging and final handover.
Ensuring health and safety and quality standards are maintained.

The Ideal Candidate

Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager within building services.
Strong technical knowledge of HVAC and mechanical installations.
Experience delivering projects valued between £500k and £1.5m.
Experience within NHS, healthcare, education or public sector environments would be advantageous.
Strong commercial and project management skills.
Confident managing site teams, subcontractors and clients.
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the project region.

£70,000 salary, negotiable depending on experience.
Colchester-based office.
