ROLE: Project Manager (Mechanical)

SALARY: Up to £65,000 DOE

LOCATION: Birmingham (with national travel)

THE COMPANY: We are currently working with a leading business, based in Birmingham, who are looking to recruit an experienced Project Manager to join their team.

THE CANDIDATE: The right candidate will have strong experience in overseeing the successful delivery of multiple nationwide projects, ranging up to £1.5m in value.

The successful Project Manager will have at least 5 years’ experience within the mechanical services industry, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing and drainage systems.

A qualification in Building Services Engineering and experience with AutoCad would be beneficial but isn’t essential.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

• Participate in pre-construction activities, including design management, site setup, and creating RAMs/CPPs.
• With the support of a Project Engineer/Site Supervisor, track and manage daily project progress, noting any delays and seeking solutions.
• Oversee the project's financial success, from procurement scheduling to reporting changes and producing financial applications.
• Work with our design team and external consultants to ensure the design process meets requirements and supports site work.
• Manage the commissioning, close-out, and handover process by coordinating with commissioning specialists and site teams.
• Ensure all handover documentation (O&M’s, As-Fitted Drawings, Commissioning Certification, etc.) is prepared with the help of administrative teams, Project Engineers, and subcontractors.
