We are looking for an experienced Mechanically Biased Project Manager to join a major data centre programme covering three sites across West Drayton, Slough and Hayes.
This is a long-term contract opportunity, supporting the Senior Project Manager and taking responsibility for driving mechanical packages, site delivery and programme performance through to completion.
Key Responsibilities

Support the Senior Project Manager with overall mechanical project delivery.
*
Manage and drive mechanical packages through to completion.
*
Manage mechanical programmes, sequencing and progress.
*
Coordinate mechanical subcontractors, suppliers and site teams.
*
Monitor labour, productivity and programme performance.
*
Manage technical queries, RFIs and installation issues.
*
Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality.
*
Attend and lead mechanical progress and coordination meetings.
*
Support testing, commissioning, snagging and handover.
*
Produce progress updates and short-term look-ahead programmes.
Requirements
*
Proven experience as a Mechanically Biased Project Manager.
*
Must have previous data centre project experience.
*
Strong mechanical background delivering major mechanical packages.
*
Experience managing subcontractors and mechanical site teams.
*
Strong programme and project delivery experience.
*
Good understanding of mechanical installation, testing and commissioning.
*
SMSTS.
*
CSCS Management Card.
*
Relevant mechanical qualification.
Salary: £75,000–£95,000 DOE
