Mechanical Services Supervisor

Elevation Recruitment Group’s Engineering & Manufacturing Services Division are working with a successful and growing manufacturing business located in South Yorkshire to recruit a dynamic and hands on Mechanical Services Supervisor within their Aftermarket Engineering Services team.

The Mechanical Services Supervisor role will be a strategic mix of working at the Factory base and customer sites all over the world. Basic salary is £45-50k pa but the earning potential far exceeds that with market leading overtime rates, fully expensed travel, accommodation and a generous food allowance.

Our client is looking for an energetic, ambitious and driven Mechanical Services Supervisor to support their growth and development by providing effective leadership and management of specialist field service teams and ensuring every job is delivered in a professional and profitable manner with a high level of customer service.

Responsibilities of the Mechanical Services Supervisor role will include:

• Project manage Field Engineering Service Teams either on site or remotely from the Factory
• To ensure daily activities such as costings, risk assessments, method statements, and customer reporting are completed
• Develop the Field Engineering Team skillset for optimum flexibility
• Ensure all safety protocols are prepared for and followed
• Understand and generate site based work procedures, routings and processes
• Demonstrate high-level mechanical skills and capabilities in the testing, fault finding and repair of operational equipment, including high-pressure pneumatic and hydraulic systems, vacuum and pump assemblies etc.
• Be an effective interface and assistance to internal and external stakeholders

We would be keen to speak with experienced Mechanical Services Supervisors with the following skills and experience:

• Mechanical Engineering Level 3
• Implementation of two-valve isolation / LOTO
• Experience of calibration of pressure relief valves.
• Strong Team Leadership and People Management skills
• 5+ years of experience in relevant aspects of mechanical test, inspection and refurbishment services within factory and site services
