Mechanical Supervisor

Our client is a UK-based commercial construction and property services company, founded in 2017. The business delivers renovation and refurbishment, planned and reactive maintenance, and project management services across the commercial, education, custodial, defence and public sectors.

The client has particular experience working within highly regulated and security-sensitive environments, alongside a strong track-record delivering projects for universities, hospitality venues, offices and custodial facilities.

The role:

An experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join our client on a Ministry of Justice (MoJ) project. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising mechanical works on site, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards. You will oversee mechanical subcontractors and site teams, coordinate works with other trades, monitor progress and ensure compliance with relevant health & safety regulations, specifications and project requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Supervisor with a strong construction background and previous experience working on large-scale, complex or security-sensitive projects.

The ideal candidate:

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Mechanical Supervisor with a strong background in commercial construction, facilities management or refurbishment projects. You will have proven experience supervising mechanical installations and subcontractors, coordinating works on site and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme and to a high standard. Previous experience working on MoJ, government, custodial, defence or other security-sensitive projects would be highly advantageous. A strong understanding of mechanical regulations, health & safety requirements and site procedures is essential, alongside excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills. Relevant mechanical qualifications and a recognised NVQ Level 3 qualification are essential.
