Mechanical Systems Design Engineer - Contract(Inside IR 35)

Location: Bedford (Hybrid - 3 days/week on-site)
Experience Required: 7+ years

The Role:

Our client seeking an experienced Mechanical Systems Design Engineer for a long-term contract based in Bedford. Working within an innovative aerospace R&D environment, you will focus on the design and structural integrity of next-generation aerial platforms.

You will be heavily involved in aerostructural design, taking concepts through to rapid prototyping and integration.

Key Skills & Experience

7+ Years Experience: Proven track record in mechanical systems or aerospace design.
CAD Proficiency: SolidWorks is highly preferred, but we are open to experts in CATIA, Creo, Inventor, or NX.
Aerostructures: Deep understanding of wing and fuselage design and integration.
Advanced Manufacturing: Extensive experience with 3D printing, rapid prototyping, and composite materials.
