Mechanical Technician- Field Based

Elevation Recruitment Group’s Engineering & Manufacturing Service Division are working with a successful manufacturing business in West Yorkshire to recruit a Mechanical Technician to join their site repairs team.

Our client has a great reputation for delivering exceptional service and responding promptly to breakdowns and willing to consider all experience levels for training and succession planning for the future.

Responsibilities of the Mechanical Technician role will include:

• Attend daily jobs throughout the UK with a team of technicians and fitters
• Repair and refurbish customer machinery
• Reassemble components
• Spot welding and some fabrication
• Replacing worn down parts

We would be keen to speak with Mechanical Technicians with the following skills and experience:

• Experience working within a manufacturing/production or engineering workshop
• Hands on Mechanical experience
• Comfortable with working in the field which can be long hours
• Aptitude and attitude to learn new skills and apply them in the workplace
• Full UK Drivers license
