Job Overview

We are seeking experienced Mechanical Technicians/Supervisors to work on upcoming GE gas turbine maintenance, inspection, overhaul and outage projects onsohore and offshore.

This is a LTD company contractor opportunity for experienced mechanical professionals with a strong background in gas turbines, power generation or heavy industrial projects. Previous GE gas turbine experience is essesntial.

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out mechanical maintenance, inspection, overhaul and assembly activities on GE gas turbines.

* Strip, inspect and rebuild turbine components in accordance with approved procedures.

* Carry out mechanical fitting and precision assembly work.

* Support planned outages and major maintenance projects.

* Install, remove and inspect turbine components and associated equipment.

* Interpret engineering drawings, technical documentation and work instructions.

* Identify mechanical issues and report technical concerns appropriately.

* Complete work in accordance with project safety, quality and engineering requirements.

* Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary site team.

* Maintain high standards of housekeeping and site compliance.

Candidate Requirements

* Proven experience as a Mechanical Technician or Mechanical Fitter within power generation, gas turbines or heavy industry.

* Previous GE gas turbine experience is essential

* Experience of turbine outages, maintenance or major overhaul projects.

* Strong mechanical fitting and assembly skills.

* Ability to understand engineering drawings and technical documentation.

* Relevant mechanical qualification or recognised trade background.

* Strong health, safety and environmental awareness.

* Previous experience on large-scale industrial or power generation sites.

* Valid project/site certifications where required.

* Must be able to operate through a UK LTD company and meet the relevant contractor requirements.

* Right to work in the applicable project location.
