James Adams is currently working with an award winning media business in West London looking for a skilled

Media Planner.

The

Media Planner

will report to the On Air Planning Manager, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating, managing, and timing the relevant components of the presentation schedule, ensuring accurate and compliant TV schedules for transmission.

This position is an inside IR35 position paying £300PD - £350PD. It will be based on site at our client's West London offices for 2-3 days a week. The initial duration of the contract is 3 months.

Your Key Accountabilities in this role will be:
End-to-end responsibility for the presentation schedules, delivering highly accurate and fully transmittable playlists to the external Playout provider.
Ensuring schedules are compliant with relevant local regulations (e.g., OfCom).
Supporting the Presentation & Media Planning team by preparing schedules, sending draft schedules, and running reports (e.g., As Runs).
Liaising closely with the Programming Team to ensure appropriate versions of programs are scheduled according to their published transmission time.
Managing schedule amendments, including last-minute changes.
Responsible for accurate entry of all promotions and versions into a central database.
Optimizing schedules for commercial minutage and liaising with external commercial sales houses.
Collaborating with the Media Planning team to deliver effective media plans containing promotions, continuity, and on-screen graphics.

Ideall you will have some of the following Professional Experience:
Previous Presentation planning experience using a channel management/scheduling system within a linear TV channel environment.
Awareness of our customer's portfolio of media brands would be a big plus!
Previous experience or demonstrable knowledge of Video On Demand media and platforms is desirable.
