Media Planner Buyer

About the Business Division:

This role is part of ONEHealth Communications, a subsidiary of M3 Inc., which is a specialist Healthcare Communications agency working in partnership with our clients to deliver end-to-end marketing services across three key areas of Media Buying, Creative and Content and Email, currently employing a team of 32. This is supported by Data4NHS, providing one of the largest GDPR compliant email databases of Healthcare Professionals (HCP) in the UK.​

This is an exciting opportunity for a hardworking, self-motivated, and confident person, ideally with some knowledge of Healthcare Professional media to join our media team. The ideal candidate will have some experience working within healthcare media and building strong relationships with pharmaceutical clients.

Responsibilities:

We pride ourselves on our strong long-term relationships with clients, and this is a key role to work with the media team with media planning buying and implementation to help maintain and grow our clients.  

Your role as a Media Planner Buyer will be to work with the team with multi-channel campaigns for our pharmaceutical clients, this will include:

• To help plan, book and manage the delivery of client campaigns across print, digital and social media campaigns.
• Liaising with publishers to source media information and confidently present back to clients and the team.
• To be confident to deal directly with clients including presenting proposals and campaign analysis.
• To be pro-active and identify new opportunities for clients.
• Display a good understanding of all relevant media channels including social.
• Providing internal support to the team to enable appropriate turnaround times for our client proposals.
• Monitoring dashboards to ensure campaigns are running correctly and recommend optimisations.
• Preparing campaign analysis reports.
• Working closely with internal departments along with external companies such as publishers and creative agencies to help with schedule implementation and ensure the media plan runs smoothly and deadlines are reached.
• Ad-hoc administrative tasks as required.

Ideal candidate will:

• Ideally have experience within the Healthcare Professional media buying sector.
• Be a highly organised self-starter who is analytical, with a high attention to detail.
• Self-motivated, able to self-manage and ambitious to exceed expectations.
• A proactive learner, working well under pressure with good ability to prioritise.
• Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.

Experience Required

• Proficient with Microsoft Office – Excel and PowerPoint.
• Must be able to prioritise/organise workflow.
• Must be able to work co-operatively with other members of the media team.
• Must be able to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to multi-task in a faced paced environment.
• Must be able to demonstrate strong computer literacy skills.
• Ideally healthcare market knowledge.
