This is a London based on-site position, please only apply if you are based in London and able to be in the office 5 days a week.

We are seeking a driven, strategically minded sales leader to spearhead the rapid growth of our media division as Media Sales Manager. This is a high-visibility role central to our goal of aggressively scaling advertising and sponsored content revenues from global coffee brands.
As Media Sales Manager at Allegra World Coffee Portal, you will lead a serious and ambitious effort to grow our advertising and sponsored content revenue from companies across the thriving global coffee industry. This is an opportunity to make a major impact on our rapidly scaling media division.

You will employ tenacious outbound prospecting while also nurturing key decision-maker relationships to secure repeat contracts. Salesmanship must be underpinned by sharp market knowledge, data-driven insights, and unwavering persistence.

This role demands a sophisticated understanding of how to translate client goals into integrated advertising and sponsored content campaigns that deliver measurable results. Continuous analysis of performance and trends will inform your honing of an ever-sharper sales strategy and revenue growth trajectory.

Key Responsibilities:

New Business Development and Lead Generation:

Devise and execute innovative strategies to identify, qualify, and pursue new sales opportunities within the food and beverage industry, with a strong focus on the coffee sector

Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to uncover emerging trends, consumer preferences, and potential growth areas
·

Build and nurture a robust pipeline of qualified leads through effective prospecting, cold calling, networking, and leveraging industry connections
·

Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and industry stakeholders, positioning our company as a trusted partner

Sales Execution and Account Management:

·

Independently craft compelling value propositions, sales presentations, and proposals tailored to the unique needs and challenges of prospective clients
·

Leverage your in-depth knowledge of the food and beverage industry, particularly the coffee sector, to provide valuable insights and consultative solutions to potential clients
·

Negotiate and secure favourable terms and conditions for new business contracts, ensuring alignment with our company's goals and profitability targets
·

Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to contract closure and onboarding of new clients
·

Develop and implement account management strategies to foster long-term relationships, drive customer satisfaction, and identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities

Industry Knowledge and Thought Leadership:

·

Demonstrate a deep understanding of the food and beverage industry, with a particular focus on the coffee sector, including product lines, supply chains, consumer trends, and market dynamics
·

Stay ahead of the curve by actively monitoring industry developments, attending relevant events, and participating in professional associations and networks
·

Leverage your expertise to position our company as a thought leader in the industry, contributing to content creation, speaking engagements, and industry discussions

Performance Tracking and Reporting:

·

Establish and maintain a robust sales reporting system to track key performance indicators (KPIs), including lead generation, conversion rates, and revenue targets
·

Analyse sales data and metrics to identify areas for improvement, optimize sales strategies, and make data-driven decisions
·

Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to management, providing insights and recommendations for driving business growth

Qualifications and Requirements:

·

5+ years’ experience in leading media or advertising sales teams
·

Proven track record of success in media sales, with a strong emphasis on new business development and account acquisition within the food and beverage industry
·

Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas and solutions to diverse audiences
·

Strong commercial acumen and the ability to understand and articulate the value proposition of our media solutions in the context of the food and beverage industry
·

Proficiency in data analysis, market research techniques, and the ability to translate insights into actionable sales strategies
·

Preferred: Relevant experience in the food and beverage industry, preferably within the coffee sector, with a deep understanding of industry dynamics, trends, and challenges
·

Preferred: Knowledge of the UK coffee market, consumer trends, and industry dynamics, including key players, distribution channels, and regulatory environments
·

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, with strong self-motivation and time management skills

This role offers a highly competitive compensation package, including a base salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.
