Media Studies Teacher

You would be working in a highly successful Creative Arts faculty teaching Media Studies across KS4 and KS5. The department is well-resourced and provides students with opportunities to explore a wide range of media forms, industries and contemporary issues through both practical and theoretical study.

Students are encouraged to analyse and evaluate media products while developing their understanding of audience, representation, industry and media language. The curriculum is engaging, ambitious and designed to prepare students for further study and careers within creative and digital industries.

The department has a strong record of examination success and staff work collaboratively to ensure students are challenged and supported throughout their studies. Teachers are encouraged to contribute to enrichment activities, creative projects and wider curriculum development.
