Media Technician

• Location: West London
• Salary: £23,180 to £26,344 (actual salary for 36 hours/week, 39 weeks/year)
• Contract Type: Full Time, Term Time Only, Permanent

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Media Technician to support our client's Media Department, which delivers UAL Media courses and is equipped with industry-standard facilities and software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and manage Media workrooms, equipment, and software
• Support students with practical coursework and productions
• Track and manage equipment usage, servicing, and repairs
• Assist teaching staff with technical support during sessions
• Lead workshops and support events such as exhibitions, screenings, and open days

Requirements:

• Minimum Level 4 qualification in Media or a related field, or significant industry experience
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Express; familiarity with Final Cut Pro, Avid, or DaVinci Resolve is desirable
• Experience in editing workflows, file management, and basic colour grading
• Strong working knowledge of Mac OS X
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair hardware/software issues to an intermediate level
