Medical Engineer

Job DescriptionMedical Engineer (Workshop based)Salary: £30,000 - £38,000Location: Midlands Job Purpose: Conduct medical engineering activities within a workshop.Key Responsibilities:Perform pre-installation checks and in-house diagnostics.Document and report findings accurately.Identify and report common faults.Follow all regulatory, quality, health, safety, and environmental requirements.Participate in continuous improvement projects.Collaborate with sales and field service teams for seamless product delivery.Provide remote assistance and troubleshoot issues for end-users.National travel as needed; occasionally deliver and repair items.Follow company SOPs for adverse events and product complaints.Skills & Experience:Strong planning, organization, and communication skills.Proficient in Excel; experience with SAP and Salesforce is a plus.HNC in electronics or equivalent experience required.Field service and biomedical equipment experience desirable.Full UK manual driving license.Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals.Proficient in Microsoft Office.Team player, willing to travel and work flexible hours.Key Competencies:Accountability and ownershipCustomer focusAdaptable team playerCollaborative and communicativeAmbitious and eager to learnBenefits:Full training and courses providedWhy Choose nGenium:Exciting Opportunities: As a specialised medical engineering recruitment agency, we offer access to a diverse range of contract roles tailored to your skills and aspirations.Supportive Partnership: Your career growth and success are our top priorities.
