Medical Negligence Solicitor

Established independent, progressive law firm with a team of legal experts offering a range of legal services and advice for clients across Merseyside.

As a result of continued growth, they are looking to expand their Clinical Negligence team in Liverpool to represent claimants and provide advice in relation to instances of injury or death arising from incorrect or inadequate medical treatment or diagnosis. Ideally, 3-5 years' PQE, your role will cover everything from best practice in patient care to life-or-death decisions regarding individuals receiving critical care.

To be successful in this role, often dealing with traumatic and personal circumstances, one of the key skills required is empathy, where a client must be able to trust and confide in you about sensitive subjects. Other skills include being able to determine whether it is proportionate to pursue a case, with good organisation, negotiation and time management and the ability to think outside of the box and considering what compromises need to be made.
