MEICA Project Manager Location: Swindon Contract: Long Term Rate: Competitive, dependent on experience Payment: Umbrella PAYE
We're recruiting for an experienced MEICA Project Manager to lead the delivery of a major water infrastructure project based in Swindon.
This is a long-term contract opportunity, offering an initial period of remote working during the design and pre-construction phase, before transitioning to a site-based role once construction begins.
You'll take ownership of a pumping station project from design through to commissioning, managing specialist subcontractors, coordinating multiple work packages, and ensuring successful project delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing the full project lifecycle from design through to construction, commissioning and handover. Leading the delivery of a new pumping station scheme. Managing specialist subcontractors across MEICA and associated civil works. Overseeing the installation and interfacing of the rising main. Managing multiple packages of work, ensuring they are delivered safely, on programme and within budget. Coordinating design, procurement, construction and commissioning activities. Building and maintaining strong working relationships with clients, designers, subcontractors and internal delivery teams. Driving programme performance, quality and commercial awareness throughout the project. Managing project risks, change and technical interfaces. Ensuring the highest standards of health, safety and environmental compliance. About You We're looking for a specialist MEICA Project Manager with a proven track record of delivering pumping station or wastewater infrastructure projects.
You'll ideally have:
Extensive experience delivering MEICA projects within the UK water sector. Experience managing pumping station projects from design through to commissioning. Strong knowledge of rising mains and associated infrastructure. Experience managing subcontractors and specialist supply chain partners. Excellent package management and project coordination skills. Strong stakeholder management with the ability to build lasting relationships. A proactive approach to problem solving and project delivery. SMSTS, CSCS and relevant water industry experience.
