REED Engineering & Manufacturing are working with a leading Engineering & Manufacturing company

We are recruiting for an experienced VIM MELTER/ Furnace Operator to join a well-established Engineering & Manufacturing operation. This is a key role focused on delivering high-quality output while maintaining excellent safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate VIM furnaces in line with safety and quality procedures
Analyse bath samples and calculate alloy additions using ABS systems
Check and prepare charge materials prior to furnace loading
Supervise alloy weighing and control additions to meet specifications
Maintain high housekeeping and plant standards
Support production targets and carry out routine maintenanceRequirements:

Experience in VIM/ Melting operations
Strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork
Good understanding of metallurgical processesWhat's on Offer:
