Melters Helper/Melter

We are currently recruiting within the Alloy department for multiple Melter’s Helper which when fully trained will lead to training as Melter.

Main Activities:  

•             Ensure all EH&S policies are followed.

•             Ensure all quality processes are followed such as process releases and SOPs.

•             Adhere to all Howmet Business Systems such as daily management boards, 5’s and TPM.

•             Participate in problem solving and improvement activities. 

Requirements:

•             Understanding of production target and quality procedures

•             Ability to solve problems and to foresee problems that may affect production

•             Proactive approach and capable of working in a synchronized way within a team

•             Organized and analytically accurate with the ability to understand and follow written instructions

•             Understanding of the flexibility requirements 

•             Being a fast learner and able to retain information

•             Positive and reliable attitude

•             Hardworking and enthusiastic 

•             Ability to work within a team or without supervision

•             Be able to work in a confined space

Training will be provided for successful candidates.
