This Mental Health Assistant - Aspiring Therapist role provides an excellent opportunity to develop practical therapeutic skills while working alongside experienced teachers, therapists, psychologists, and SEN professionals.

As a Mental Health Assistant - Aspiring Therapist, you will provide emotional and pastoral support to children, helping them develop confidence, resilience, and positive coping strategies. You will work with children on a one-to-one basis and in small groups, supporting emotional regulation, encouraging healthy communication, promoting independence, and helping pupils overcome barriers to learning.
