Protocol Education are currently recruiting a Learning Support Assistant / Teaching Assistant to join a supportive SEMH Provision in North Essex. You’ll be part of a dedicated team working with students who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
About the role:
Supporting students on a 1:1 and small group basis Helping to manage behaviour and encourage engagement in learning Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils Working alongside experienced staff in a collaborative environment What we’re looking for:
A positive, resilient and proactive attitude Strong communication and relationship-building skills A genuine interest in supporting young people with additional needs Experience is beneficial but not essential – the right mindset and personality is key The details:
Full-time, long-term position Monday to Thurs, 08:30 – 4pm / Fri 3:30pm finish Sites based in Witham, Heybridge, Colchester and Clacton We welcome applicants from: Chelmsford, Witham, Maldon, Braintree, Colchester, Tendring and surrounding areas.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
