My client is a leading Main / Principal Interiors Contractor, providing products and services to create high end luxury interior environments in the High End Residential, Leading Hotels and Restaurants in the London and the UK.

The Assistant MEP Building Services Coordinator Role

Have you got experience of building services and are looking for an exciting opportunity to work on a prestigious project in West London? My client has recently been awarded a project to refurbish and fit-out a landmark hotel and they are looking for an ambitious Assistant MEP Building Services Coordinator to join the team to help successfully deliver the project.

Role and Responsibilities:

* You will be dealing with a variety of day to day tasks supporting the technical / building services manager in delivering the services elements of the projects. These will include:

* Reviewing sub-contractor design for compliance against specification and regulations

* Assisting in maintaining Health and Safety standards at all times.

* Maintaining technical submission and RFI schedules

* Monitoring and reporting on Sub-Contractor progress against programme.

* Liaising with the contracts manager to ensure sub-contractors complete daily tasks

* Assisting with commissioning process to ensure all services are operating correctly

The Successful Assistant MEP Building Services Coordinator

* A degree/HND in building services engineering would be advantageous

* 1 – 2 years post graduate related experience.

* A good understanding or working knowledge of software packages such as AutoCAD

* The desire to progress as an individual within the building services environment.

* Knowledge of Asta or other project management software would be advantageous

* Outgoing, motivated with a team player attitude
