MEP Storeman

A leading MEP sub contractor with an annual turnover of £40 million is currently seeking an organised and reliable MEP Storeman to join their team on a major mixed-use residential and commercial project in the NW London area.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established contractor that delivers high-value projects across the residential, commercial and mixed-use sectors. The company is open to considering candidates on either a permanent basis or an ongoing freelance / self-employed arrangement.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday

*

7:30am – 5:00pm

Key Responsibilities

*

Checking in and receiving deliveries of MEP materials

*

Managing and maintaining accurate stock levels

*

Organising materials within the stores area

*

Issuing materials to site operatives and subcontractors

*

Ensuring goods are stored safely and correctly

*

Carrying out regular stock checks and reporting shortages

*

Keeping the stores and delivery areas clean, tidy and well organised

*

Liaising with the site management and procurement teams regarding material requirements

Requirements

*

Previous experience working as a Storeman within the MEP industry

*

Experience handling mechanical and electrical materials is needed

*

Good organisational and communication skills

*

Ability to work independently and as part of a site team

*

Reliable, punctual and proactive approach to work

*

CSCS card essential
