Merchandiser - 12-Month FTC (Maternity Cover)

Location: London (hybrid)

Salary: £45,000 + Benefits

We're looking for a talented Merchandiser to join a leading retailer on a 12-month maternity cover contract. You'll take ownership of categories including Toys, Nursery, and Gifting, ensuring commercial success through smart planning, trading, and team leadership. Reporting to senior leadership, you'll collaborate closely with the Buying team and be supported by an Assistant Merchandiser and a Merchandising Assistant.

What You'll Do

• Develop and deliver merchandising strategies across multiple categories.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, OTB, and range planning.
• Monitor sales, stock, and promotions, making data-led decisions to maximise profit.
• Lead and develop an Assistant Merchandiser and Merchandising Assistant.
• Partner with Buying and senior leadership to drive performance.
• Oversee stock and sales performance using tools like WSSI and Range Planner to forecast accurately.
