Area to be covered: North England (Stoke up to the Scottish border)

Remuneration: £32,000 + bonus

The role of the Merchandiser - Power Tools will involve:

• Merchandiser position selling a high quality range of construction tools such as; hand & power tools, measuring equipment, levelling tools and construction accessories
• All of your time will be focused selling to independent & national builders merchants, tool stores & large retail stores, for example: B&Q, Screwfix, Travis Perkins etc.
• Majority of your time will be spent working with existing customers ensuring that they have the correct training, stock and point of sale
• Liaising with customers to maximise their product range in store, whilst providing support and product demonstrations where required
• Attending trade mornings, trade days, trade shows and site demonstrations to increase sales and support our clients customers sales teams
• Taking repeat orders and processing them through the office, whilst updating the CRM when necessary
• Overnight stays will be expected (roughly 2 per month)
• Full training will be provided

The ideal applicant will be Merchandiser - Power Tools with:

• Must have experience within a merchandising role
• Ideally have experience within the construction industry
• Organised with the ability to plan, manage and prioritise workload
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Energetic, passionate, enthusiastic and driven
• IT literate (Microsoft Office)
• Full a driving license
