Job Description - Merchandising Admin Assistant

We are seeking a highly driven, detail focussed Merchandising Admin Assistant to join The Couture Club, the role will be supporting across Menswear, Womenswear & Wholesale Department.

Your responsibilities will include:

Stock Management

-

Providing key administrative support to the Merchandising function
-

Purchase Order Management- raising orders and sharing with suppliers in a timely manner.
-

Ensuring the Critical Path is managed and up to date- accurate management of the delivery schedule, ensuring delivery dates are met by suppliers and communicating any late deliveries, and cancellations to the Merchandising team and the wider business.
-

Building a great relationship and be the go-to for all your supplier's communication and queries
-

Working closely with the Assistant Merchandiser and Head of Merchandising - creating daily/weekly reporting, trading updates and general administrative tasks

Collaborating closely with the Buying, design and Garment Tech department to successfully support the team in driving your department forward

Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience:
-

Entry Level – No merchandising experience required but some retail knowledge is preferred.
-

Good Excel skills and basic knowledge of other Microsoft Office tools.
-

Numerical – the role requires a good level of mathematical competency.

Competencies and Requirements:
-

Analytical with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
-

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
-

Ability to demonstrate organisational and time management skills.
-

Ability to work under pressure and take initiative.
