About Us:
Finatal is partnered with a high-growth software company to help find them an M&A Associate. This company is currently rapidly expanding globally via M&A and is seeking a talented individual to join the existing team.

Role Overview:
Reporting to the M&A Director, this role offers a unique opportunity to be involved in all stages of the M&A process. The successful candidate will work closely with senior management and gain experience in a highly acquisitive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
· Conduct financial analysis, modelling, and valuations to support investment decisions.
· Perform detailed due diligence, including financial, operational, and commercial assessments.
· Prepare and present investment recommendations and reports to senior management.
· Support deal negotiations, including term sheet and purchase agreement drafting.
· Coordinate with external advisors (legal, tax, and financial) to facilitate smooth transaction execution.

What We Are Looking For:
· ACA qualification (or equivalent) with strong financial and accounting knowledge.
· Proven ability to conduct detailed financial analysis and valuations.
· Looking for 12 months+ direct buy-side / corporate development experience gained in industry.
· Excellent communication and presentation skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
