THE ROLE As an Automotive MET Technician, you will play a key role in the vehicle repair process, ensuring vehicles are stripped, repaired, and reassembled to the highest standards while supporting the wider bodyshop team.
Key Responsibilities: ·Carry out mechanical, electrical, and trim repairs on a range of vehicles ·Remove and refit vehicle components in line with manufacturer specifications ·Diagnose faults and identify repair requirements ·Work closely with Bodyshop Technicians, Paint Technicians, and Workshop Controllers ·Ensure all repairs are completed safely and efficiently ·Maintain high standards of workmanship and attention to detail ·Adhere to health and safety procedures at all times ·Complete all relevant job documentation accurately
ABOUT YOU We are looking for an experienced and motivated Automotive MET Technician who takes pride in delivering high-quality repairs and excellent workmanship.
·Previous experience as an MET Technician within a bodyshop environment
·Strong mechanical, electrical, and trim repair skills ·Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards ·Knowledge of modern vehicle systems and repair techniques ·Excellent attention to detail ·Strong team-working and communication skills ·Full UK Driving Licence ·ATA Accreditation beneficial but not essential
