MET Technician

Our client, a reputable accident repair centre in Doncaster, is seeking an experienced and qualified MET Technician to join their expanding team.

We are recruiting on behalf of our client to find a skilled MET Technician who can contribute to the high standards of service and quality expected at this renowned facility.

Benefits:

Basic salary up to £41,600
OTE up to £50,000 with performance-related bonuses
Monday to Friday working hours, 8am – 5pm

Conduct all mechanical repairs and bodywork on allocated vehicles
Dismantle, fault-find, and perform diagnostic tests as an MET Technician
Reassemble vehicles with new or replacement parts as necessary
Carry out vehicle inspections and testing to ensure quality standards
Identify faults or work requiring safety considerations
Perform road tests in a safe, legal, and efficient manner
Ensure all work complies with manufacturer standards and safety regulations
Maintain accurate records of repair work and diagnosticsRequirements:

Proven experience as a MET Technician within a reputable dealership or accident repair centre
Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Body or Mechanical Engineering (desirable)
ATA accreditation is advantageous but not essential
Attention to detail and quality consciousness
Strong communication skills and ability to multi-task
Knowledge of diagnostic tools and fault-finding procedures
