Our client, is looking to recruit a skilled MET Technician to join their successful team in the North Manchester area. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a modern, professional bodyshop where you'll have the latest equipment, a supportive team, and genuine long-term career prospects.

The Role

As an MET Technician, you'll be responsible for carrying out high-quality mechanical, electrical and trim repairs as part of the vehicle repair process.

Your responsibilities will include:

Removing and refitting mechanical, electrical and trim components
Stripping and rebuilding accident-damaged vehicles to manufacturer standards
Identifying and reporting any additional damage not included within the original estimate
Carrying out suspension repairs and mechanical work
Completing four-wheel alignment and geometry (GEO) adjustments

To be successful in this role, you'll ideally have:

Previous experience as an MET Technician / Strip & Fit Technician within an accident repair centre
Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
Experience with suspension, steering and vehicle geometry
ATA Accreditation (desirable but not essential)
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification (advantageous)
Hybrid Vehicle qualification (preferred)
ADAS Accreditation (preferred)
A full UK driving licence 

What's on Offer:

Up to £46,000 basic salary
Excellent individual bonus scheme (bonus starts once 35 hours are sold)
OTE of £55,000+
Monday to Friday - 45 hours per week
Flexible start and finish times
25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays

Permanent, full-time position
