Metal Fabricator - Welder

Job purpose:

The purpose of the role is to fabricate/weld steelwork , architectural metalwork to fabrication drawings to BS EN 1090-1 standards.

Responsibilities:

• Weld and fabricate metal components to technical drawings and instructions.
• Cut, shape, assemble and fit metal components using fabrication equipment and tools and various welding techniques, factory tools and equipment.
• Read and understand blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Perform quality checks.
• Maintain welding equipment and tools.
• Adhere to H&E guidelines.

Skills and requirement:

• MIG/TIG/MMA Welding technique experience is a MUST.
• MUST be proficient in working with Stainless and aluminium.
• Be able to fabricate and assemble metal components.
• Confident using hand tools and power tools used in metal fabrication.
• C/B Forklift license desirable.
