Salary: Up to £28,000 per annum (depending on experience) + Profit-Related Bonus
Hours: 40 hours per week – Rotating Early & Late Shifts (Monday to Friday)

Job Description We are currently recruiting for a Metal Fettler to join our manufacturing team based in Leatherhead. This is a permanent, full-time role offering a competitive salary and excellent benefits. The successful candidate will be responsible for finishing and preparing metal parts to a high standard using hand tools and machinery.
Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Carry out fettling, grinding, sanding, and surface finishing of fabricated metal parts
• Smooth and remove weld splatter, burrs, and rough edges
• Use hand tools, grinders, and other machinery to achieve required finishes
• Inspect finished components to ensure they meet quality specifications
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Work efficiently to meet daily and weekly production targets
• Follow health and safety procedures and company standards at all times

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience in metal fettling, grinding, or finishing work
• Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools
• Good attention to detail and quality-focused
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work rotating shifts

What’s on Offer

• Hourly rate between £12.52 and £13.44 (depending on experience)
