Our client, a well-established recycling and metals business based in Barnsley, is looking to recruit an experienced Metal Sorter to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong work ethic and previous experience within the scrap metal or recycling industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Sort ferrous and non-ferrous metals accurately.
Identify different grades and types of metals.
Ensure materials are processed efficiently and safely.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area.
Follow all health and safety procedures.
Work as part of a busy yard team to meet daily operational targets.
Requirements:

Minimum 2 years' experience in a metal sorting or similar recycling environment.
Good knowledge of ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
A commitment to health and safety standards.
