Metering Analyst

Our client, an independent B2Benergy supplier, is looking for a Metering Analyst to join their team. As a Metering Analyst, you'll manage the metering portfolio, resolve meter and data issues, and collaborate with Meter Asset Managers (MAMs) and a range of stakeholders. Key responsibilities for the Metering Analyst:

• Oversee and manage all meter/AMR installations, exchanges, removals, and data updates.
• Collaborate with customers, suppliers and metering partners to resolve queries.
• Resolve meter and AMR data issues efficiently and manage meter reading rejections.
• Support AMR and Smart meter rollout strategies, ensuring data accuracy
• Provide regular and ad-hoc reporting to support operational and sales functions.

Skills and experience required for the Metering Analyst:

• Energy industry experience (specifically within Metering) - Essential
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Proactive problem-solver with the confidence to challenge the status quo.
• Ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment and work flexibly across business areas.
• Familiarity with third-party agents like MAMs, MOPs, or DCs.

Location: Bury, Manchester – Office based

Salary: £27,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits
