Are you an experienced Metrology Lead looking for your next challenge? If so, this opportunity cannot be missed! Our client, a leading engineering business, is recruiting for a Metrology Lead due to growth in the business.
 
Metrology Lead – Key responsibilities:

Lead a team of CMM Operators, Programmers and Metrology Technicians.
Develop and prove CMM programmes, supporting inspection and measurement activities.
Lead metrology investigations and support quality issues and corrective actions.
Support NPI, first article inspections and measurement reporting.
Drive accuracy, compliance and continuous improvement across the metrology function. 
Metrology Lead - Essential Skills & Experience:

Strong CMM programming experience, ideally using Zeiss Calypso.
Excellent knowledge of GD&T, engineering drawings and manufacturing processes.
Experience with MSA, Gauge R&R and first-principles measurement.
Background in precision manufacturing, with aerospace experience advantageous.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to lead a team.
