The Opportunity

This role invites you to shape the linguistic journey of students across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering their fluency, cultural understanding, and appreciation for the richness of French and Spanish. Key Responsibilities

• Craft and deliver engaging French and Spanish lessons that ignite students' passion for language learning.


• Develop and implement creative lesson plans that align with the national curriculum and cater to diverse learning styles.


• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to facilitate continuous improvement.


• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages participation and celebrates achievement.


• Collaborate with colleagues within the MFL department to enrich the language program and contribute to extracurricular activities.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Bachelor's degree in French, Spanish, or a related field.


• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.


• Demonstrated experience teaching French and Spanish at the secondary level.


• Near-native fluency in both French and Spanish.


• A deep understanding of language acquisition and effective teaching methodologies.
