Excellent Opportunity for a French and Spanish Teacher in Essex

We are delighted to partner with a thriving secondary school in Essex, known for its commitment to academic excellence and fostering a love of language and culture. They are currently seeking a passionate and qualified French and Spanish Teacher to join their faculty in a full-time, permanent position starting this September.

Position Summary

This is an exceptional opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of young learners and inspire their linguistic development. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and comprehensive language instruction to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement innovative lesson plans aligned with the National Curriculum and school's educational objectives.


• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and fosters cultural awareness.


• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their language acquisition.


• Collaborate with colleagues within the Modern Foreign Languages department to enhance the overall program and contribute to extracurricular activities.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in French, Spanish, or a related field.


• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.


• Demonstrated experience teaching French and Spanish at the secondary level.


• Native or near-native fluency in both French and Spanish.
