Nine Twenty Recruitment are delighted to partner with a small but fast-growing Edinburgh-based Microsoft and Meta partner in the search for a Microsoft 365 Modern Workplace Technical Consultant.

Job Description
In this role, you will play a pivotal role in helping clients design, implement, and optimize their digital workplace using Microsoft’s suite of tools and services. You'll leverage your deep expertise in these tools and strong understanding of Modern Workplace principles to deliver high-level technical consulting and solutions.

Responsibilities
Understanding client needs and challenges, identifying opportunities to improve collaboration and productivity through our solutions built on the leading cloud provider's platform.
Designing and developing technical solutions using the platform's core applications such as Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange.
Configuring and implementing Microsoft Modern Workplace solutions for seamless integration with existing systems.
Providing ongoing support and guidance to clients, including user training.
Leading technical delivery, ensuring solutions meet client requirements and maximize platform capabilities.
Documenting projects and best practices for knowledge sharing.
Staying up-to-date on the latest Microsoft Modern Workplace innovations and expanding your technical expertise.
Collaborating with other technical consultants across various service offerings including Workplace by Meta and Workvivo.

Key Skills
In-depth knowledge and experience with Microsoft 365 - Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange.
Proven ability to design and implement technical solutions using the platform's tools.
Strong understanding of modern workplace trends and best practices.
Experience in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of SPFX and development and deployment practices for custom SharePoint solutions and integrations.

Secondary/Desirable

Skills
Experience migrating clients to the cloud using Microsoft Azure.
Certifications in Microsoft 365 certifications or Azure
Experience with automation tools and scripting languages such as Power Automate Automate and PowerShell
Experience using React and AngularJS
