Hours of work: 7.5 per week.
Working pattern: Part-time, term-time only (working for 39 weeks per year plus 5.85 weeks annual leave).
As the position is part-time/term-time only, the above salary will be pro rata.
Fixed term for: 12 months.

Beckley CE Primary School is a successful and very popular rural school near Rye and is part of the Genesis Federation, made up of Beckley, Peasmarsh and St Michael's Playden Church of England Primary Schools. 

We have just under 100 pupils in 4 mixed-age classes with excellent facilities, including our beautiful school orchard. Pupils, staff and parents are proud of the school and value the caring ethos. 

Our children are polite, caring and respectful and get on very well with each other. They actively support each other’s learning. Staff are relentless and passionate in their desire to provide the best possible learning experiences and outcomes for their pupils. Parents and carers are very supportive and extremely positive about the school.

We are looking to appoint a dynamic and inspiring Midday supervisory assistant to join our enthusiastic staff team.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working with young children. 

You should be a highly motivated person, committed to our school values and fully embracing of the strong Christian ethos that runs throughout all aspects of the school community. 

We want someone who has ideas, enthusiasm, energy and a desire to make a difference to our children's experiences at school. You will have the ability to challenge, encourage and support the children and your colleagues, along with the ambition for making a valuable contribution to the continued improvement of the school.

The school will need to ensure that they are not knowingly employing a person who is disqualified under the 2018 Regulations in connection with relevant childcare provision.  Accordingly, the successful candidate will be required to demonstrate to the school, by completing a self-declaration form as part of the pre-employment checks process, that they have not been disqualified under the 2018 Regulations.
