Middle Office Analyst

THE ROLE

We are hiring a Middle Office Analyst with a strong background in middle office investment operations on a permanent, full-time basis to join a dynamic working environment. The position is based in our London/Zurich office and will support core functions as outlined below.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Provide support to the Investment Management team to ensure efficient and timely implementation of investment decisions
2. Continuously review FX exposures and execute FX hedging strategy
3. Monitor and validate the fund’s Net Asset Valuation calculations
4. Calculate and review fund performance estimates
5. Oversee and coordinate the client reporting process
6. Maintain and update internal and external systems with investment and product reference data
7. Support product lifecycle events (e.g., onboarding of new funds, fund restructurings, and fund liquidations)
8. Handle internal as well as external ad-hoc requests

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS

1. University degree (BA equivalent) and 5 + years ofrelevant experience in Operations/Middle Office within the Investment Management industry
2. Solid understanding of financial instruments (fixed income, equities, FX, futures, swaps, etc.)
3. Advanced understanding of fund accounting principles
4. Process-oriented with strong analytical skills and attention to detail
5. Ability to handle multiple tasks with tight delivery schedules
6. Advanced Excel knowledge
7. Experience with VBA, SQL and Python is an advantage
8. Team-oriented, with a proactive, positive approach to tasks
9. Excellent command of English both written and spoken
10. The right to work in the UK/Switzerland
