Middle Office Analyst (insurance linked securities)

Position Overview

A permanent, full-time opportunity is available for a Middle Office Analyst with a strong background in investment operations. The role is based in London and supports core operational functions in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Support the Investment Management team to ensure the efficient and timely execution of investment decisions
2. Monitor foreign exchange exposures and execute FX hedging strategies
3. Validate and oversee Net Asset Valuation (NAV) calculations
4. Calculate and review performance estimates for investment funds
5. Coordinate and manage the client reporting process
6. Maintain and update both internal and external systems with investment and product reference data
7. Assist in managing product lifecycle events, including fund onboarding, restructurings, and liquidations
8. Respond to ad hoc requests from internal stakeholders and external partners

Candidate Profile

1. Holds a university degree (or equivalent) with relevant experience in fund operations or middle office roles within the investment management industry
2. 5+ years of relavent experience
3. Demonstrates a solid understanding of financial instruments such as fixed income
4. Must have insurance linked securities experience
5. Strong knowledge of fund accounting principles
6. Highly process-oriented with excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
7. Comfortable managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines
