MIG and TIG Fabricator Welder - Letchworth

Newstaff Employment Services is currently seeking a skilled MIG and TIG Fabricator Welder to join our team in Letchworth. This position involves working with a variety of metals to fabricate components and structures that meet precise specifications. An ideal candidate will have extensive experience in MIG and TIG welding processes, along with a strong understanding of fabrication techniques. You will play a crucial role in ensuring quality and efficiency in our manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and weld components using MIG and TIG welding techniques on various metals.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to determine project requirements.
• Set up and operate welding equipment to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Conduct regular quality checks on welds and finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to improve welding processes and output.
• Perform repairs and modifications to existing components as needed.

• Proven experience as a MIG and TIG Fabricator Welder.
• Strong knowledge of welding techniques, equipment, and safety protocols.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
• Relevant welding certification is an advantage.
• Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual tasks as required.

Company Pension

Monday to Friday role 8:00-16:30
